WEEKEND RECAP: Friday was nice, got laundry done, and just chilled, slept really well, woke up late. Saturday was band practice fever, lots of good rocking, then drinking, Saturday night I went out and saw Favorite Sons*1 (who suck..and how vice records, whom normally have good taste, chose to sign this band i'll never know) with The Drones*2 (who suck a lot less), Then i went to a dance party in the 8th floor of some building on north Broad, which was nuts. After it got too hot i went to another party which i stayed at until 5 am which was more like 6 am with the time change. Over all, 1/2 a bottle of jim beam and 7 beers, made my saturday party central. Sunday was watching a shitty eagles game, and then practice practice practice... By the way The new band is officially "THE TOUGH SHITS"

So last weekend wasn't the awesome party i had been planning for but i still had fun. the live cassette i planned to record is recorded. Other than that i have all new material to record and then i will explode onto the scene like a hail storm. In the mean time I have seen some really great stuff on youtube...let me share...

Ok its friday and i made it!
This weekend has lots in store but y'all get no spoilers! You will find out on Monday. I have lots of new material now and i get paid next thursday so i will buy webspace and you will be hearing alot more from the reverend. My next release (i should say project considering the first 3 "Live in the practice room" series discs need release as well as the EP) is too release a cassette only demo tape! so i have some work to do. anyways here is some videos: ENJOI

Monday morning 2:00am: I am not asleep. I am ripping cd's to my computer...why? Some girl i don't know thinks i'm amazing. another want me to marry her. I got a message to call a girl i haven't talked to 4 years. My best friend broke a virgin. My roommates steal my beer and my cigarettes. My partner thinks i forgot about my work duties. my friend gave me a van and now she calls me all the time. I am second guessing my music. i have no $. sometimes pressure is too much for me. Sometimes i feel like i give too much but maybe that's the only way i'll make it. anyway this was this past weekend. I will soldier onward...

Back in action I know i missed my Friday videos so i have some new ones for y'all.
But first A little weekend recap:
Friday i got caught txting the same thing to two different girls who were hanging out together. I didn't know they were friends! Whatever i din't go to making time cause its usually LAME! Anyways i had more fun getting drunk at my house. Saturday I got a ton of work done for the REVEREND...be on the look out for new jams! I also went out to the bar and hit on my nieghbors girlfriend right in front of him for like a half hour - 40 min, brought them both back to my house and let John hit on her for another half hour...It wasn't until the next day i found out that they were going out. Any ways Sunday was football and was AWESOME. T.O. Got what 3 catches for 40 yrds. PSSSH! And a 102 yd return touchdown to seal the deal...priceless. Finally we went to Ryan's house and played nintendo while she made us milkshakes. A very nice way to end a fun weekend.

Eagles rub it in Cowboys Face!

So I have been to bunch of shows in the last few weeks and i realized that most of the support acts need some recognition. So here are some cool bands who played with supercool bands...

On Sept. 15th I went to Southpaw to see The Kills (who I think rule hard)

  I saw these guys who were super nice and got a kick out of my drunkenness.They kick out the dramatic jams.

  These chicks totally killed it they were like some all girl velvet underground droney mess. But with bjork singing. I wanted to smoke pot with them very badly. I ended up talking with one of the girls from the band who was way cool and it turned out she plays in the occasion who are also cool...

So Then on Tuesday of this week i went and saw The Black Lips with Be Your Own Pet. BYOP was about as good as the last time I saw them. I still think they sound a bit samey but thats just me. I'm sure some people woud say the same about Black lips who i thought were awesome (they smashed the shit out of a guitar and were spitting in the air and catching it inthere mouths, also the two guitar players kissed) anyways the opening band here was Clockcleaner they are from the illadelph.

  These dudes (and dudette)are totally bad. Like a jesus lizard swallowing the melvins. They are usually pretty good for stage antics/banter

Then last night I went to see my friend Andy play. He does some wicked atonal guitar noise stuff that is killer here is a sample...
